Certification and Accreditation Engineers
Certification and Accreditation (C&A)
Engineers needed to support multiple efforts involving
government information systems.
Qualifications:
General
systems engineering processes and procedures, networking
fundamentals, common protocols, hardware components and
architecture design, information security principles,
authentication, confidentiality, integrity, availability and
non-repudiation. Comprehensive understanding of the C&A
processes supporting DITSCAP/DIACAP, NIACAP, DoDIIS, and DCID
6/3. Develop system security plans, conducting
Verification Testing and Security Testing and Evaluation, and
thorough understanding of the C&A life cycle. Extensive
experience drafting system security documentation and interpret
and apply DoD security requirements to the system being
accredited. Familiarity with information assurance
technologies and their operational applications. A good overall
understanding of IT security is essential. Must be a CISSP.
5 + years in the IT security field, emphasis on Certification
and Accreditation activities.
Education:
Bachelor's degree or higher is required in a related information
technology field or an engineering degree in IT or
electrical/electronics.

Clearance Required:
Candidates
selected will be subject to a federal government security
investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access
to classified information. |
