Information Assurance Engineers
IA Engineers needed to support multiple
efforts involving government information systems.
Qualifications:
Extensive
experience with computer/network security concepts, firewalls,
vulnerability assessment, risk management, vulnerability
exploitation techniques, operating systems, security software,
and extensive use of security test tools. Must be capable
of security requirements generation, architecture,
implementation, transition plans, CONOPs, and system
specifications. Successful candidates will possess a thorough
understanding of security engineering principles as they relate
to the Information Assurance Technical Framework as well as
designing and implementing IA solutions. Translate
security policy and requirements into an IA implementation plan
tailored to the operational environment, mission, and
application requirements. Expected to brief senior
management and lead analysts on recommended mitigation
strategies and will operate under strict deadlines. Must be a
CISSP and or ISSEP. 5+ years of experience is required.
Education:
BS degree in Computer Science or related disciplines expected
(equivalent experience will be considered). A Master’s degree
in a related field is a plus.
Security
Clearance Required:
Candidates selected will be subject to a
federal government security investigation and must meet
eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
