Security Advocate Certification Support

NSA’s Business Affairs Office created the INFOSEC Outreach Program to enlist the considerable INFOSEC talents of their government and industry partners. It is the goal of this program to work together and meet the increasing demands for state-of-the-art secure telecommunications and information systems. As a NSA Security Advocate candidate, NIACORP’s employee will provide Security Guidance and greater insight into secure design, security evaluation, and the security considerations of system certification, and influence the timeline of the development and fielding of the INFOSEC solution your organization is providing to Government agencies.

 

Specific benefits include: More robust designs through state-of-the-art integration of security, faster endorsements and trusted product ratings based on increased throughput capacity of the evaluation community, more consistent and comprehensive certification activities, and “smarter” accreditations.  In addition, NIACORP’s past participation in the INFOSEC Outreach program will expect to gain considerable capability to streamline our secure design efforts since this provides insight to security requirements and associated protection fostering integration of state-of-the-art security in initial design.
